- Your Obligations: You agree to use the app lawfully and understand that our insights and savings estimates are for informational purposes only, not professional financial advice.

1. Welcome & Agreement
Welcome to Paidly. We built this app to give you clarity and control over your recurring expenses without compromising your privacy.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Paidly. By downloading, installing, or using the Paidly app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our service.
If you have any questions about this document, you can reach out to us at ekirapapaul@gmail.com.
2. About Our Service
Paidly is a subscription tracker designed to help you manage your recurring costs, track budgets, and gain spending insights. We provide notifications for upcoming renewals, trial endings, price changes, and budget limits.
To make tracking easier, we offer an optional, read-only Gmail scanning feature that discovers subscriptions from your billing emails. Because we value your privacy, this scanning process happens entirely on your device. We never read, transmit, or store your emails on our servers.
Not Financial Advice
While Paidly provides savings estimates, budget tracking, and subscription data, this information is strictly for informational purposes. We are not financial advisors, and nothing in the app constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and for actually canceling any subscriptions you no longer want.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, such as 16 under the GDPR) to use Paidly. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app and make any purchases.
3. Your Setup and Device Responsibility
Because Paidly is a privacy-first application, we do not require you to create a traditional user account with a username and password. All of your subscription details and entered data are stored locally on your device.
Device Security
Since your data lives on your phone, you are entirely responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We recommend using device-level security features like passcodes, Face ID, or fingerprint authentication to protect your financial information.App Store Accounts
While Paidly does not have user accounts, your access to premium features is tied to your Apple ID or Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of these third-party accounts and for any purchases made through them.4. Acceptable Use
We want Paidly to be a helpful tool for everyone. To keep things running smoothly, we have a few simple rules about how you can use the app.
What You Can Do:
You are encouraged to use Paidly to track your personal or small business subscriptions, utilize our Gmail integration to find hidden costs, and export your data via CSV for your own records.
What Is Prohibited:
- Reverse Engineering: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Paidly app.
- API Abuse: You may not misuse our integrations (such as the Google Gmail API) or attempt to bypass any rate limits or security measures.
- Illegal Activities: You may not use Paidly for any fraudulent or illegal purposes.
- Intellectual Property Theft: You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of our app design, logos, or proprietary features.
If we discover that you are violating these rules, we reserve the right to block your device from accessing our services.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
Our Property
Paidly owns all rights, title, and interest in the app, including its code, design, features, and original content. Using our app does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our service.Third-Party Property
We use third-party services like Logo.dev and Clearbit to display accurate company logos for your subscriptions. These logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. We display them solely to help you visually identify your subscriptions.Your Data
You own all the data you input into Paidly. Because everything is stored on your device, we do not claim any ownership over your personal subscription lists, budget details, or Gmail scan results.6. Payments & Billing
Paidly offers both a free version and a premium version called Paidly Pro.
Free Tier
Our free tier allows you to track up to 5 active subscriptions manually. It is completely free to use and does not require a credit card.Paidly Pro
Paidly Pro unlocks unlimited subscriptions, Gmail scan results, advanced insights, budget tracking, price alerts, cancellation guides, CSV import, and a what-if simulator. You can purchase Paidly Pro as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.Billing and Renewals
All payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage your purchase entitlement status within the app. If you choose a monthly or annual subscription, it will automatically renew unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.Refunds and Cancellations
Because Apple and Google handle all transactions, Paidly cannot directly issue refunds or cancel your subscription for you.- To cancel: You must manage your subscription directly through your Apple ID settings or Google Play account settings.
- To request a refund: You must submit a refund request directly to Apple or Google, subject to their respective refund policies.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is the foundation of Paidly. We comply with major privacy frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
We do not sell or share your personal information. Your subscription details and Gmail scan results never leave your device. We only collect anonymous usage analytics (via Google Firebase Analytics) and purchase entitlement status to ensure the app functions correctly and to help us improve the service.
For a complete explanation of how we protect your information and your rights under the GDPR and CCPA, please read our full Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & Limitations
We work hard to make Paidly reliable and accurate, but we cannot guarantee perfection.
"As Is" Service
Paidly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate.Feature Limitations
Our optional Gmail scanning feature relies on the Google Gmail API and specific email formatting. We do not guarantee that it will detect 100% of your subscriptions. Similarly, our renewal notifications rely on your device's notification settings and operating system; we are not responsible if a notification fails to deliver and you miss a cancellation window.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paidly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including financial losses from missed subscription cancellations or inaccurate budget tracking. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.Note: Some jurisdictions (including those under the GDPR) do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consumer services, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
9. Dispute Resolution
If you have an issue with Paidly, we want to fix it. Please contact us first at ekirapapaul@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Paidly agree to resolve any claims through binding individual arbitration rather than in court. You also agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.Exceptions
This arbitration agreement does not apply if you qualify to take your claim to small claims court. Additionally, if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom protected by the GDPR, you retain the right to bring a claim in your local courts under your local consumer protection laws.10. Changes & Termination
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our app, business operations, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, providing a notice within the app. Your continued use of Paidly after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.Termination
You can terminate this agreement at any time simply by deleting the Paidly app from your device and canceling any active Paidly Pro subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms or engage in illegal use of our services.11. General Legal
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Paidly operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. However, if you are a consumer in the EU or California, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA respectively.

- Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Paidly regarding your use of the app.
